In the Lanaudière region, the city of Joliette welcomes a very particular event: the Festival de Lanaudière. It is particular because it is the only international festival of symphonic music in Canada, in addition to presenting chamber music and lyric artists. Joliette welcomes internationally known artists during its festival. Recently, the festival celebrated its 30^th anniversary and welcomes the greatest musicians en ensembles in the world.
