In Joliette, make sure you visit the magnificent cathedral in which are shown the works of art made by Ozias Leduc. You should also stop at the parc des Dalles or the parc Louis-Querbes to enjoy a little bit of quietness and even have a picnic. In summer, it is possible to go canoeing on the Assomption River, which in winter is covered with ice for the pleasure of skaters. It is also here that the Festi-Glace takes place. Finally, attend the various shows presented at the cultural centre and enjoy a nice beer at the Alchimiste, the best micro-brewery in the region!
