The villages of Sainte-Béatrix, Sainte-Mélanie and Saint-Jean-de-Matha have the chance to share the parc regional des Chutes Monte-à-Peine-et-des-Dalles. This beautiful natural park conceals waterfalls of different sizes, a gorge, some cascades, a canyon as well as 17 kilometres of hiking paths. It is surprising that this park started to become popular outside the neighbourhood only in the 1960s. This place is a peaceful oasis for anybody who loves nature and hiking in the woods. A park to discover or rediscover!
